My Story

There comes a moment in every woman’s life when she has to decide whether she’s going to continue surviving…

or finally begin choosing herself.

Mine came after years of believing pain was simply the price of being a woman.

Heavy bleeding.
Debilitating cramps.
Exhaustion that no amount of sleep could fix.
The uncertainty of never knowing what my body would do next.

For years, I carried it quietly.

I showed up.
I smiled.
I kept pushing.

Because that’s what so many women are taught to do.

We’re taught to be strong.

To endure.

To carry everyone else… even when we’re silently falling apart ourselves.

I became so accustomed to surviving that I almost forgot what it felt like to actually feel well.

Then something inside me shifted.

I stopped asking,
“How do I keep living like this?”

and started asking,

“What if I deserve better?”

That question changed my life.

I began educating myself.

Listening to my body instead of ignoring it.

Learning about fibroids, hormones, inflammation, reproductive health, and the importance of what we allow into and onto our bodies.

Healing became more than doctor’s appointments.

It became spiritual.

It became emotional.

It became a promise to myself that I would never abandon my body again.

Some people find their purpose through success.

I found mine through pain.

Looking back now, I believe every difficult season was preparing me for this one.

Sacred Flow wasn’t created because I wanted to start a business.

It was created because I wanted another woman to feel seen.

To open a box and immediately know…

“Someone understands.”

I wanted period care to feel beautiful instead of embarrassing.

Gentle instead of harsh.

Intentional instead of forgotten.

I wanted women to stop settling for products that treated our bodies like an afterthought.

Because we are not an afterthought.

As a Black woman, I know what it feels like to carry invisible burdens while still showing up with grace.

I know what it’s like to advocate for your health when you don’t always feel heard.

I know what it means to rebuild yourself from the inside out.

And I also know that healing isn’t linear.

Some days look like progress.

Some days look like rest.

Both are sacred.

Today, Sacred Flow is more than period care.

It’s a reflection of the woman I fought to become.

A woman who chose healing over hiding.

Education over fear.

Purpose over pain.

Grace over perfection.

Every product we create is rooted in that journey.

Every detail is intentional.

Every ingredient is chosen with care.

Because I believe women deserve products that honor their bodies—not just manage their periods.
